Our lab belongs to the Graduate School of Environmental Studies and is affiliated with the Department of Civil Engineering, and has researchers and students from diverse academic backgrounds, professions, and nationalities.
For international students who want to join our lab, it is recommended to check the following scholarship options for studying in Japan:

Self-funded students and privately-funded students may apply to study in Nagoya university through ordinary application procedures. Their application to join the lab will be assessed and considered. Also check the pages of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies (GSES) and The Department of Civil Engineering of Nagoya University.
We also welcome short-term exchange students through the NUPACE program. Check if your university is eligible!

本研究室へは国内だけでなく海外からも環境学を志す多くの学生が集います。学部生はほぼ大学院に進学し、研究室を卒業する頃には、環境問題をシステム的な側面から捉えることができるようになるだけでなく、英語によるコミュニケーション能力、プレゼンテーション能力も自然と身につきます。国際学会・国内学会でも学生が積極的に発表し、毎年学生が受賞を続けています。
