地球温暖化や化石燃料の枯渇等の問題から、新エネルギーの早期普及と低環境負荷技術の確立が強く望まれています。
当講座では、バッテリー・燃料電池・ガスセンサー・リアクターなどの電気化学デバイスを高効率化するための「マテリアルとシステムの設計」を行っています。最近では、カーボンニュートラルなバイオマス資源に着目し、低環境負荷でエネルギを取り出す研究を行っています。
